BodyBeats.
A browser-based rhythm game that turns body poses into musical input — developed at the Music & AI Hackathon 2.0 and recognized with the Advanced Technology Award.

Overview
BodyBeats was created during the Music & AI Hackathon 2.0 in 2026. The interactive web experience invites players to use their body as an instrument and was awarded the Advanced Technology Award.
Challenge
Our goal was to make music interaction physical and instantly understandable: a camera should recognize movements reliably, translate them into rhythmic actions and keep the experience responsive enough to feel like a game.
Approach
We built the experience in React and connected camera-based pose estimation with a rhythm system. Players match poses to the beat, choose between camera and keyboard controls and can adapt the difficulty to their pace.
Outcome
The result was a playable prototype that combined machine learning, browser technology and interaction design in one expressive experience — and convinced the jury to award it the Advanced Technology Award.
